A chilly New Haven, Ct. Morning Engagement Session by TAB Photographic Ct. Wedding Portrait Photographer

The day is coming upon us with speed. The Hindu Ceremony is sure to be magical. The wedding day beautiful.... And it's all coming to a day near you this spring!!!

But first. We take on New Haven on a beautiful chilly morning in March. For Murali and Katherine though, its not a problem. Not only are they just the sweetest couple out there, but they're troopers!!!

Jackets on, jackets off. Jackets on, jackets off. That's pretty much how the morning went. 

And I have to be honest, I think they're lucky because if the day was warmer I would have dragged them all around New Haven. We would have needed some power bars and energy drink. But alas, it wasn't warmer and instead, we could have used some hot chocolate!

Meeting in school and realizing it was one of the best moments around! And now. Well now they're taking that next step. Starting that next chapter. Maybe we should even the sequel. And from my point of view, it's going to be a GREAT read!!!

So now, now you can impatiently wait for photos from their day!!!!!

The Dog Food Fundraiser!

So a couple weeks ago, Muddy Paw Studios (TAB Photographics Dog Side) raised over 1000 pounds of dog food for local shelters! The Ct. Shoreline...

Living in Southern New England is a great thing at many times. And knowing that with in 2 hours you can be in Vt. New Hampshire, Boston, NYC and so much more is a great part of it! Not to mention the shoreline. 

Well, Sunday I needed to shoot just for me. And the below video is the outcome. ;) (and a couple of my favs below that.)

Water...

Water is, quite simply one of the strongest forces in the universe. You can't stop it. It will find a way over, around or through anything put in it's way. And early in the week was no joke! Here in Ct. and the entire north east was hit by a pretty strong storm. While I didn't have time to drive around and get a ton of shots, I did find 5-10 minutes and one location to get some shots of the Farmington River where it goes through town here in Collinsville. Normally a tranquil area, you can walk out and find a nice rock area to sit as the water runs by, the water fowl plays... Not this time! SURELY NOT THIS TIME!!! The flooding was unreal! And now, now we've got another big storm rolling in. Hopefully this one spares the families that live in those low areas that were effected less than a week ago....

The Dylan!!!

Talk about a treat! 

This little guy was awesome! Going from the fun little guy and his monkey blank'y to the moment he would turn that hat around backward! 

His entire demeanor would change. He would turn into this little cool dude who could do it all on his own. Only then, in one split second, the hat would come off and he would end up back in his mothers arms... It's an age where they don't know what direction to go, but know that the world is slowly opening up to their individuality.......

And it's moments and sessions like this that make me just love what I do!

If there's one thing I want to share with my children and every other child on this planet (or anyone else that will listen), it's that anything truly can be. You CAN do the "impossibles" and you can have everything you want in life. You just have to want it. You have to drive yourself to get it. Never give up, never stop taking the steps to get there and if you want it bad enough, if you long for it, if you work hard for it. YOU CAN HAVE IT!!! 

Simple as that. 

So what is it that you want, what dream do you have, what steps do you need to take in order to get there? Write 'em down. Stop the excuses, stop the but but but... And make it happen. YOU CAN DO IT!!! 

This little one just arrived!

So one week they're here for a fun and sweet maternity session. Next thing we know, there's a little bundle of joy showing up "on their doorstep"...

And she's a precious one with out a doubt!!! Sharing that special love that only the newborn can give to their parents and I mean, I really believe they're lovin' every bit of it!!!
