So, you've got these two kids from Stratford. She's a year ahead of him, he's looking up to her watching her every move through high school. Her, yea, she didn't even know he was there.
Then one day, this girl needed a prescription filled and over to CVS she went (and no, this isn't going to turn into a story like little red riding hood). It was there that she finally noticed him. He had it all planned out though. He wanted that job at CVS as part of his master plan. And the other part of his master plan was getting this girl infected so that she would then need to come in for a script. Though the real infection he wanted to implant was love (he never did say just what was in the prescription)...... And it worked because she was crushing on him in no time flat!!!
She left, he ran back into the stock room and jumped on Facebook to find her and friend her. And well, that's all she wrote for these two single kids in life. Because now, now it was all history and together they sit.
Meet Maureen & Matt!
After four years of chinese food and dinner in bed with their third wheel Lily, he finally stepped up to be the man he is today. And how did that go down.
Well, it went something like this. Actually exactly like this....
"On our 4th anniversary we went back to the apartment we previous lived in together that held a lot of memories for us, and where we got our Lily! and Matt gave me a drawing as a gift (Our anniversary gifts are always hand made and Matt is a very good drawer) and it was a picture of us in a house with Lily in the yard (we were looking at houses at that time) and there was a checklist on the right of the picture that said: "Find true love" with a check. "Graduate" with a check, " Find good jobs" with check, "Get our Lily" with a check, "get married" and "buy a house" both unchecked. After he gave me the picture he said a little story about how much he loved me and asked!"
Is there anything sweeter!
Now, they had their wedding day. Keeping it small was their plan and even when others wanted to make it a larger to do, they stuck to their guns. Kept it small and enjoyable at the Lily Lake Inn. Hang on, how did I just put this all together. "Does their pup Lily have more to do with this whole marriage thing than we know???"
Anyway, their intimate wedding, the beautiful day. Dad crying on a couple occasions. Which by the way he never does! And it was just what the two wanted.
So from here. They have a ton of life ahead of them. It's not always easy. It's not always fun. But for these two, it's obvious that it will just work. Their smiles will bright their days. They'll pay off the student loans, they'll buy a house and do all those other pragmatic things.
In the mean time, they'll learn Italian, get more into photography (because they saw how cool I am and couldn't resist. haha. Kidding - sort of) They'll go hiking and biking and Facebook liking. And these two souls will make the world a much brighter, better, more wholesome place!
(there are some parts of the above story which may be slight exaggerations thanks to ME! However, not as many parts as one may think.

I *love* the bottom left antique-y photo of the two of them and the colorful one of them in the doorway with the No Trespassing sign. Funny story! Thanks for sharing. :)
